Wash and Fold Service Overview
- BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club offers wash and fold laundry services with customizable options for detergents, fabric softeners, and washing preferences.
- Standard turnaround time is 24 hours unless expedited services are selected. Expedited includes an 8-hour turnaround, subject to availability.
Care and Handling
- BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club takes great care in handling your laundry and follows standard washing and drying procedures unless specific preferences are provided.
- Customers are responsible for notifying us of any special washing instructions (e.g., hang drying, cold wash, delicate settings) when placing the order. Without instructions, items will be washed and dried using default settings.
- BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to: fabric deterioration, weak seams, or previous improper care.
Items Accepted
- We accept machine-washable items only. BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club does not take responsibility for items that are labeled “dry clean only” or “hand wash only” that are accidentally included in your laundry bag.
- Non-laundry items left in bags, such as keys, money, or personal belongings, are returned whenever possible, but BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club is not liable for their loss or damage.
Loss or Damage
- While BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club makes every effort to prevent loss or damage, in rare cases, mistakes may occur. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to 10 times the cost of the wash and fold service for the total weight of the order, with a maximum liability of $250 per order.
- Claims for missing or damaged items must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery or pickup in writing. For effective communication, please use out contact page on our website or email us at info@bettercleanlaundry.com.
- BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club is not responsible for damage caused by:
- Pre-existing conditions such as fabric deterioration, weak seams, or previous improper care.
- Items mislabeled or unsuited for standard machine washing and drying.
- BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club will weigh the returned laundry in cases of loss disputes to confirm the reported weight of the order.
Stain Removal
- Unless specified in the order notes, BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club does not provide stain removal services as part of the standard wash and fold process.
- We will always do our best to identify stains during inspection and will contact customers to confirm if they would like the stains treated at our stain treatment rate.
- Certain stains may require professional treatment or specialized products beyond the scope of BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club’s services.
Pickup and Delivery
- BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club offers in-house drivers along with on-demand driver pickup and delivery. A delivery fee applies to all orders, subscribers using in house drivers being the only exception, which cannot be waived but may be partially subsidized under promotional offers.
- Laundry must be packed securely in a BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club laundry bag. Orders accepted in non-branded bags will be returned in a new BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club bag. Orders will be charged a discounted rate for the new wash and fold bag, currently $12.99.
- BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club is not responsible for items lost or damaged due to insufficient packaging.
- BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club reserves the right to deny any orders packed in bags besides BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club laundry bags.
- Any “Unprepared Pickup” orders will be charged a $5 fee. (Unprepared Pickup refers to orders placed that did not have items ready for the chosen pickup time.)
Payment and Refunds
- Payment is due upon completion of your order. Our delivery system will not allow us to assign an order for return delivery without payment. Please ensure your payment method is updated in your profile to ensure efficient service.
- Refunds will only be provided for services not rendered due to BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club’s error. Compensation for lost or damaged items will not exceed the stated liability limit.
Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must inspect their order upon receipt and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure your contact information is accurate for notifications regarding your order.
- Do not include any hazardous materials or items that may pose a risk (e.g., heavily soiled items with biohazards).
Unclaimed Items
- Unclaimed laundry will be stored for 30 days. After this period, items may be donated or disposed of at BetterClean Laundry/BC Laundry Club’s discretion.
